How about an IRI Convention 2019 ???
It shall be 1 train Journey, 1 Location in convention.
People can make groups and have their own RFing trips before and after convention. Main convention would be a 2 day event at 1 location. Please vote if interested
We shall look for June end or July for the event.

about Convention.
*Convention should have motive to Meet Learn Interact about Rail NOT to *Drink Roam Enjoy Free Meal on your (or anyone's money)
*Participants must contribute a non refundable amount ₹2000~3000
*Participants must arrange their to/fro tickets
*Place should be somewhere deep or far flung or close to Divisional/Zonal *Office having either something where very few think to go *Bhuj/Rameshwaram/Araku/Deep in NE/Munabao/Kalka etc etc
*Should call someone like DRM/GM to hold a Grand meet with brain storming session with Questions and Idea sharing
Frankly speaking if Conversion means I came I mate-eat & gone then it is not conversion at all.
Further we should call small Zonal level 1/2 days conversion crisply planned and participated by at least 12~15 people with sole aim to know/share Rail love and if we can invite Division level officer or can include a visit to DRM office even that would be very great for all.

a barren desert. Now we are faced with a very, very determined "cavalry" with very deep pockets and an aggressive "kingdom" with very deep resources, and IRI faces a crisis of existence, with no pocket and scarce resources. We all have to grow up sometime, or are forced to grow up into a negative world. The harsh realities of business have hit home - maybe a little too late, or maybe there is still some time left. We'll see.

Not to continue this depressing blog, we shall revisit the topic in about 3-4 months and see how things stand.
