Our train came as Sharavati Express from Dadar to Mysuru @ sharp 10:00. The train was hauled by KJM WDP-4D (Bleed Blue Livery). I took pic of TB. Then a lot of crowd deboarded and as soon as I entered I was shocked the coach was in a very good condition though it came from such a long distance. The washrooms were clean, seats and floor were shining except few upper berth were bit dirty in my coach as previous passengers had spilled some water and food materials.
Soon after that a group of 5-6 women's wearing Mysore Division aprin came and told us to deboard the train for 15-20 minutes as they want to clean the train. The ladies soon began the work and washed the washrooms and wash basins first. Then they broomed and sweeped the floor along with cleaning mirrors in berth. Honestly they were doing it really fast but they cleaned only selected seats which were bit dirty. Then after 15 minutes cleaning in my coach they told us that we can take our respective seats. Soon after that 3 men in a grey uniform came and checked water in both washrooms as well as sink. They went down the train and connected the water pipes in station to coaches to fill water in train.
I was so tired that I didn't even went to platform after that to see the loco but my dad went to get water bottle and when I asked him about loco he said "Chup chap so jao, loco doesn't matters to us. We just need to go home" ಠಿ_ಠಿ I felt bad but his words were logical. Upon asking 2-3 times he told it was a white Loco with a single red strap and had a blue stamp on sides. I was happy and got to knew that it was our KJM WAP-7.
@sharp 11:00 loco honked and we departed Mysore. The acceleration was heaven and soon train picked up 110 just after 5 mins of departure. I slept after that and woke up when our train was standing in Hejjala. Came to know it was a chain pulling. Then we departed Hejjala and skipped Kengeri With a speed of 80-90. Soo after that we had a unscheduled halt at Nayandahalli for 1 minute and Departed from there. The train crawled from Jnana Bharati Halt and managed to arrive SBC Early. We finally reached SBC at 1:15 but the people travelling to Renigunta side did not let us deboard and there was so much crowd near doors to board the train. A lady Constable came running and yelled at people who were trying to board without letting us deboard. We finally deboarded and went towards Kempegowda Bus Station to get a bus to Our home.
This was my whole story from the trip which I wasn't able to update in FMT due to Switching off of my phone, tiredness and overnight journey.
Hope it was helpful and thanks for reading.
please wait...Translate to EnglishHey everyone, so this is just me talking about my journey from Mysore to Bangalore on this Mysuru - Renigunta SF Express. I couldn't keep y'all updated on FMT 'cause I was super tired af and my phone died on me with no charger in sight.
Here's the juice --------- I even managed to get some recordings of the announcements at Mysore when we got to Hampi in the early morning.
Our ride rolled in as the Sharavati Express fresh from Dadar at 10:00 on the dot. The loco was repping that sweet KJM WDP-4D (Bleed Blue Livery) vibe. I snapped a quick pic of the TB. After most peeps got off, I hopped on and dang, the coach was in great shape considering the long haul. Everything was clean, seats were sparkling, except for a bit of mess on the upper berths from some spills by the previous passengers.
Soon after, a squad of 5-6 chicks in Mysore Division gear asked us to step off for 15-20 mins so they could clean up the joint. They dived in and scrubbed the loos and sinks first, then swept and did up the mirrors and seats. They were quick on their grind but only got to the seats that needed some love. After cleaning up our part of the train for 15 mins, they let us back in to chill. Next up, 3 dudes in grey uniforms checked the water in the loos and sinks, then hooked up the water supply to the train carriages.
I was too beat to even bother checking out the loco, but my pops did and when I asked him about it, he just told me "Forget the loco, man. We just wanna get home". Bro had a point. After bugging him a few times, he described a white loco with a single red stripe and a blue stamp - our trusty KJM WAP-7.
At 11:00 on the dot, the loco blasted its horn and we were off from Mysore. That acceleration was epic, hitting 110 in just 5 mins from departure. I crashed out and woke up at Hejjala where we had a random stop due to chain pulling. We jetted through Kengeri at 80-90. Then, we had a quick stop at Nayandahalli and bounced. We creeped through Jnana Bharati Halt and snagged an early arrival at SBC. We touched down at 1:15, but the mob heading to Renigunta wouldn't let us off and were crowding the doors to get on. A lady cop came through speedily and told 'em off, so we finally made our exit and hoofed it to Kempegowda Bus Station to get to our crib.
And that's the whole deal from my trip that I couldn't update on FMT 'cause my phone acted up, I was beat to the core, and it was an all-nighter.
Hope this rundown was useful, thanks for sticking around and reading.
