The issue with the Mangaluru division is figuring out where to get a 600 km line. If Konkan Railway combines with Indian Railways, a Mangalore division can be made by joining Vasco, Londa, Swantwadi, Jokkatte, and the Mangalore to Hassan lines. Then, Trivandrum and Palakkad can merge to form the ERM division covering all of Kerala lines. Pollachi, Nagercoil, and Trivandrum can merge with the Madurai division. Shornur to Kollam can be put under the ERM division. It's gonna be hard to get everyone to agree. A simple fix could be to combine Mangalore's Karnataka parts with the Mysore division.

Mangaluru division mein 600 kms ka line kahaan se milega, yeh hi to problem hai. Kam se kam, agar Konkan Railway Indian Railways se merge ho jaaye, to Mangalore division create ho sakta hai by merging Vasco londa, Swantwadi jokkatte, Mangalore se Hassan lines ke saath. Aise mein TVC aur PGT merge ho kar ERM division ban sakta hai, jisme saari KL lines aayengi. POY NYY se TVC MDU division ke saath merge ho sakta hai. SCT se QLN ERM division ke andar laaya ja sakta hai. Consensus milna mushkil hoga. Easy solution hai ki Mangalore ke Karnataka ke parts Mysore division ke saath merge ho jayein.

1. Put Mangalore and the area 35 kms around it with SWR MYS, starting from Manjeshwaran. 2. Move POY Kinathukadavu 22 kms from PGT to SA division. 3. To make up for the 55-60 kms lost by PGT, add TCR SRR (33 kms) from TVC division and TCR GUV (23 kms). 4. Combine NCJ CAPE, NCJ TEN with MDU division (90 kms). 5. To cover the loss of around 140 kms from TVC division, attach Quilon Tenkasi (102 kms). 6. MDU gives and takes. Not much change.

Kaam ko composite tareeke se karna chahiye steps mein.
1. SR PGT se Mangalore aur 35 kms ki aas paas ko hata kar SWR MYS se jod do. Manjeshwaram se leke SWR MYS tak.
2. POY Kinathukadavu ko PGT se 22 kms door karke SA division ko do.
3. PGT ko 55-60 kms ka nuksan hone par, TVC division se TCR SRR (33 kms) aur TCR GUV (23 kms) de do.
4. NCJ CAPE aur NCJ TEN ko MDU division se jod do (90 kms).
5. TVC division ka lagbhag 140 kms ka nuksan hone par, Quilon Tenkasi ko jod do (102 kms).
6. MDU ko milta hai aur deta hai. Kuch zyada farak nahi padta.

This is what we gotta do. PGT can work on Guruvayur route, TVC can work on Sabari line.

For the past 30 years, there have been no new railway lines. The survey for the Guruvayoor to SRR-MAQ line has been done many times, but nothing happened. Same goes for the Angamaly Sabari line. Rather than depending on Mangalore and Nagercoil/CAPE, both divisions should focus on constructing new railway lines.
