A challenge to Nature's Fury, a sudden landslide derailed Nagpur Mumbai Duronto Exp yesterday between Asangaon and Vasind Stations but as always, Railways rising to the occasion, with hundred's of employees lead by the GM himself and his team of officers working non-stop at the derailment site for more than 30 hours by putting welfare of the traveller's first . The restoration team is still battling heavy rains accompanied by landslides and totally inhospitable conditions without proper approach to the site. But men of steel that a Railway man is, where they revel in challenges, they rise to the occasion. Few would understand the complexity of the operations yet everyone would have an opinion. to be cleared but the entire stretch of track had to be relaid as also the OHE wires which had snapped. The masts had to be re-erected in those mushy and slippery conditions stretching a long area which is a very big challenge. Yes, the Railways has did It in past and will do it now too. It is for nothing that we are the lifeline of the Nation and Railways deserve every bit of it .
