Not daily trains, but some of the NCJ bound trains run via TEN, MDU get maintained at NCJ. Example : 16339/40 weekly 4 days and 16351/52 bi-weekly trains . 12641/42 Thirukkural bi-weekly express get maintained at NCJ.
If need again 12633/34 can RSA with 12693/94 Pearl city express, it can maintained at TN.

TN is getting another pit line soon. at present with one pit line Pearl city is getting maintained daily. I am not sure without RSA whether Pearl city need daily maintenance , because a single rake runs up and down 1300 kilometres only..

TVC Division using CAPE and NCJ as dump yard of unwanted extensions, similarly PGT Division MAQ as dump yard. CAPE and NCJ has to be with MDU, also MAQ has to be with Mysuru division so that it can cater the needs of the respective place passengers.

No need to extend, if need TVC can ask dedicated VB with sleeper coach. It has good patronage and utilisation by TEN, VPT, MDU people.
TVC division never extend their trains to TEN, NCJ. let them extend any one Maveli, Malabar or Mangaluru express to TEN or NCJ, its log demand of south TN.
