All the summer special trains are running late by an average of 8 to 10 hours, and these trains charge 30% more fare than regular trains. The railway is playing a double game with the common people, on one side running hundreds of special trains, and on the other side, the condition of these trains is getting worse. There is no monitoring or accountability for these trains. Talking about Lokmanya Tilak Samastipur Special Train, the train 01043 Lokmanya Tilak Samastipur Special Train scheduled to depart on 2nd May opened at Pahara station with a delay of 31 hours and 30 minutes. It is known that this train opened 27 hours and 21 minutes late from Lokmanya Tilak. Similarly, the 01044 Samastipur Lokmanya Tilak Special Train scheduled to open on 3rd May has not yet opened from Samastipur. This train has been rescheduled for 29 hours from its initial station Samastipur. This train is likely to open at 4:20 AM on 5th May. On the other hand, the 01471 Pune Danapur Special Train, which was scheduled to open on 2nd May, arrived at Danapur at 8:36 PM on 4th May after running late by 23 hours from its initial station. The 01472 Danapur Pune Special Train scheduled to open on 3rd May has been rescheduled for 32 hours and 20 minutes from its initial station and will depart from Danapur at 10:00 PM on 4th May. Moreover, the 01471 Pune Danapur Special Train scheduled to open at 6:30 AM on 5th May has been rescheduled for 35 hours and 45 minutes from its initial station. This train will depart at 6:15 PM on 6th May. Imagine if you're traveling to another city for something very important and your train is not just a couple of hours late but 30 - 30 hours late, then how frustrated would you be??
