The display at BSB says it will arrive around 17:10.
0.5hr delay is not a bad job compared with last nights' Kalka Mail!!
However, the assigned platform #5 was occupied with the train 15159 to Durg until 17:17.
so I guess the arrival of this Amritsar Howrah mail will further be delayed....

But the train has finally arrived, to a different platform, and departed BSB now.

The train arrive at platform 8 around 17:50. Departed around 18:05.

The train is running very slow, approaching KASI station and then to the bridge xing Ganga.

Running smooth.

They didn't serve us dinner tonight.

Running fairly smooth but I think it's not recovering the delay.

Again, an unscheduled long halt...

Still stopping here. Passenger train after us has caught us up here. They are stopping next to us right now.
So I guess the current train schedule is creating capacity problem at junctions ahead, including Mughal Sarai. Otherwise, the average delay will not suddenly add up to hours level at this point.
It should be revised.

Arrived on time.
I suppose this 5 min halt time is to pick up the meals. It should be. It must be...... It's already past 8 pm and I'm hungry��

First, a cup of warm tomato soup was served during the halt at Barog.

Inside the cabin is becoming hot and unpleasant. So many passengers are getting out of the train. No announcement. Nobody has any idea until when this will last.

3.5 hrs late.

After a long stop before the Pathankot junction, the train finally arrived the final destination!!!
