BEWARE OF LIARS AT CHENNAI CENTRAL
---------------------------------------------------
This incident happen to me on 20th Dec at Chennai central. I was going to catch Bangalore Shatabdi. One man came to me and told that he has been pick pocketed. If it was some one else, i would not have believed it. But he was talking in my native language and started conversation by saying that which train goes to Shoranur after 12685. I told after 12685 only 12601 is there, that too after 3hrs from now, better go in this. Then he showed his

shirt pocket((which was torn) and told that someone had pick pocketed. He lost his mobile, purse and all. He asked for 200rs and was asking me. whether i was also going in 12685, if yes i will give the cash back once i reach Palakkad. Feeling sad, i gave him 100rs and told that i am going to Bangalore not to Kerala.
But when i was about to get into Shatabdi, another person came and told the same story, this time in tamil saying he needs to go to Andhra, someone has pick pocketed him. I understood my mistake, i told, no i don't have anymore cash, i just helped one. He left. Then i discussed this with my friend and he was saying such things are very much common, they just cheated you with lies. You were been fooled..
I have been in Chennai for almost 1yr. But have never encountered this before. So still its hard to digest for me. Still am not sure whether they were telling lies or not. Hope i was not been fooled.
Anyway beware of liars

cheating takes place in each and every city town of india.....its just that in some places there are more cases and in some places there are less, but the cities with more cases become synonymous with the crime...so be beware also in all cities which are not famous for crimes.

it doesn't happen in Chennai alone.. my story happened in secundrabad while waiting for sabri... one well dressed student with back bag and all came and introduced me as medical college student , his atm card got struck in machine and no money to buy ticket up to nellore and asked for 500., I said general ticket won't cost that much I shall give you 200.. he said just for emergency he needs some more.. when I hesitated he shows his college id. I gave him 500 he noted my seat and coach number and promised to return in nellore. five minutes before sabari came I gave him money. he rushed to buy ticket.. then. sabari came, nellore came, Coimbatore also came but that guy never came...
