The road has been closed for eight months since March due to the construction of the Metro steel bridge, creating traffic congestion from the Savarkar bridge to the Board Office intersection. The Metro will traverse this route using two steel bridges between Habibganj Naka and the DRM station near the RKMP railway station. Construction has been underway for eight months, with the installation of a 65-meter long and 400-ton bridge structure over the railway track in three hours on September 4th. Upar se Metro, niche se gujaren gi gadiyan RKMP (Rani Kamalapati) railway station ke paas Habibganj Nake se DRM station ke beech 2 steel bridge se Metro guzaregi. Iske liye pichhle 8 mahine se kaam chal raha hai. 4 September ko 3 ghante ke andar railway track par pillar ke upar 65 meter lamba aur 400 ton wazni bridge ka structure rakh diya gaya tha. Waheen, tirahe ke 200 ton wazni aur 48 meter lamba composite bridge ko bhi rakh diya hai. Iske niche se gadiyan aur upar se Metro train guzaregi.
