be finalized. The Railway India Technical and Economic Service (RITES) is currently mapping out the stations and corridors. The feasibility of an underground route is being explored but considered a last resort due to its high cost (three times more than an elevated route). RITES will be gathering feedback from local representatives and conducting further technical and geographic analysis before finalizing the plan. A coordination committee will be formed to monitor the project's progress. The project is expected to benefit a wide rural population in the city's outskirts.
