See here Rs. 58000 Crore/3200 Coaches = 18.125 Crore/Coach & Rs. 58000 Crore/3192 coaches = 18.17 Crore/Coach. Now 3192 Coaches X 18.125 Crore/Coach = Rs. 57855 Crores. Hence difference is...

= Rs. 58000 Crore - Rs. 57855 Crore = 145 Crore herfer. Cost increment from Order 1 to Order 2 = 145 Crore/3192 = Rs. 4,54,260.65 per coach.

Note that Order 1 was 200 VB Sleeper Trainsets having 16 coaches & Order 2 is 133 VB Sleeper Trainsets having 24 coaches. Order1 - Order2 is 8 coach less in total. Rs. 145 Crore/8 Coaches = Rs. 18.125 Crore/ Coach.

So IR paying Rs. 145 Crore more for Order 2 as the Total Value of Order is at Rs. 58000 Crore.

It's like catching a mouse running all over. The maintainance cost of the train is paid yearly to the manufacturers for 35 years. Rs 245 cr /35 is 7cr per year per train set which is earlier 6cr for 16 coach. Every financial equation is the same as last year bidding.
