The railway track near Khatima, closed for three days, was repaired under the supervision of Assistant Divisional Engineer Surendra Singh, with a train passing through in the evening. The railway public relations officer confirmed the resumption of services on the Tanakpur route. Low-lying areas in the city, including the Mandi Samiti, St. Aloysius, Officer Colony, and an underpass, remain waterlogged. The municipal council president, Dr. Aastha Agrawal, visited these areas and assured relief efforts. Water levels have not yet subsided in some areas, with schools using pumping sets to remove water.

Khatima ke paas three days se band railway track ko Assistant Divisional Engineer Surendra Singh ki supervision mein team ne repair kar diya, and shaam ko ek train pass ho gayi. Railway public relations officer ne confirmed kiya ki Tanakpur route par services start ho gayi hain. City ke nichewale areas, jaise ki Mandi Samiti, St. Aloysius, Officer Colony, and underpass mein abhi bhi waterlogged hai. Municipal council president, Dr. Aastha Agrawal ne in areas ka inspection kiya aur relief efforts ka promise kiya. Kuchh areas mein abhi bhi water level nahi gira hai, and schools pumping sets use karke water bahar phenk rahe hain.
