Joyline Jacob 11 blog postsThe trains 16525 & 16526 is not been showing in both IRCTC website/app and in railway counter station after 2nd May 2024 for booking. What is the reason? Any clue?

Amrit Bharat will be a new service and not replacement of present trains. This train is already running with LHB and SL may be replaced by 3ACE
I checked with the station counter reservation employee and they stated that the Railway system is showing as the train is cancelled after May 2nd onwards.
When asked for the reason and for the duration of the cancellation, he is not aware as the system is indicating as cancelled from May 2nd onwards.

I got an info that Island Express will be Moved to Salem or Trivandrum division will have new numbers. But not sure ..............
I think the bookings are open now. Even I was hearing about some rake share arrangement with another train being planned which would have meant changes in seats and allocation of berths but perhaps that was just a rumour. As of now bookings are open till June
