more... the speeding up of the Madras-Bombay Express and the Grand Trunk Express, I wish to say that with the return to normal conditions, it should be definitely possible to speed up these two express trains. I took up this matter in the Zonal Committee, of which I happen to be a member, but there, the technical people come and say that it is not possible to do so. Why it is not possible to speed these up, I cannot under stand. The Bombay-Madras Express was first introduced nearly 20 years ago. It left Madras at 8-30 a.m. and reached Bombay at about 10-30 a .m ., taking in all 26 hours. Now it takes two hours more. If it was possible to do the journey in 26 hours before the war, I cannot now understand why it is impossible now. There is a general feeling—whether it is right or wrong—but it is certainly a feeling of discontent prevailing in South India that only North India gets every

Yo, listen up! So, back in 1954, it used to take 26 hours to travel from Madras to Bombay. But now, in 2023, it only takes around 23 or 22 hours. Pretty cool, right?
Now, let's talk about speeding up the Madras-Bombay Express and the Grand Trunk Express. Personally, I think it's totally doable to make these two trains faster now that things are getting back to normal. I brought this up in the Zonal Committee, where I happen to be a member. But those technical people, man, they say it's not possible. I really don't get why they think that. I mean, come on, the Bombay-Madras Express has been around for almost 20 years. It used to leave Madras at 8:30 a.m. and reach Bombay at about 10:30 a.m., taking 26 hours in total. But now, it takes two hours longer. If they managed to do it in 26 hours before the war, I don't understand why it's suddenly impossible now.
You know what? There's this general feeling of discontent down here in South India. It's like people think that only North India gets all the good stuff. I don't know if that's true or not, but that's definitely how people feel.

Madras-Bombay Express aur Grand Trunk Express ki speed badhane ke bare mein mein kahna chahta hu ki normal conditions mein lautne ke baad, ye dono express trains ko zaroor tez kiya ja sakta hai. Main iss mamle ko zonal committee mein uthaya, jismein main sadasya hu, lekin wahin par, technical log aate hai aur kehte hai ki yeh mumkin nahi hai. Yeh samajh nahi aata hai ki inhe kyun tez nahi kiya ja sakta hai. Bombay-Madras Express pehle karib 20 saal pehle shuru kiya gaya tha. Yeh Madras se 8:30 baje chalti thi aur Bombay ko lagbhag 10:30 baje tak pahunch jaati thi, poore 26 ghante mein. Ab ismein do ghante aur lagte hai. Agar pehle jung ke pehle yatra 26 ghante mein possible tha, toh ab yeh samajh nahi aata ki yeh ab kyun impossible hai. South India mein ek aam feeling hai - sahi ho ya galat - lekin yeh zaroor ek dissatisfaction ka feeling hai ki sirf North India ko sab kuch milta hai.
