Yep, both options are non feasible. In both options Ranchi will get the train, but in one Dhanbad will lose its train & in another, KQR, GAYA, will lose their train. It is already filled to the brim & has no room for passengers from cities like Ranchi, Bokaro.. Even DRUCC/ZRUCC is the culprit here to demand such an extension. They should have just demanded a new train to ASR via TORI, LAD, DTO, DDU & from there which ever route is feasible.
Ya, its certainly easy to demand Ganga Sutlej extension to Ranchi as no extra path is required, but what about the stations which will lose their share.
