which has more speed M/E train or Superfast Train ?

there is exception like darjeeling mail which has less stoppage than saraighat or Pradatik Express
Generally SF trains have less stops and travels fast.
But even IR doesnt know when can a train be called as SF.(there is no clear definition)

Check Stops B/w BMT-CSTM(12701/2 Hussainsagar Sf Exp)& pls check 11020's stop b/w BMT-CSTM.

Superfast/ Express/Mail has same relative speed.
the first concept came with Deccan Queen Express in the past which used to run non-stop between Mumbai - Pune with only technical halts at Karjat n Lonavala.
Mail were introduced to mail service in important trunk routes.
Eg:- Golden Temple Mail, Howrah - Chennai Mail, etc
