Naam ka synchro tha.. 3 years, 3 different experiments kiye geye thee uske piche but DPS bohot serious tha students ko leke... During my time, studies were head to head in level with all educational focusing states like MH, Kerala, WB, NCR, Rajasthan, AP, Karnataka etc. It was a golden moment for Jharkhand to be able to match with them. DAV Shyamali, Ranchi bhi JH ka naam ucha kar Raha tha.
Everyone was serious with their field of studies. Bokaro mee taab schools ke beech faltu ka comparison nehi hota tha. Saab apne apne students ko best possible support dete thee. Around usi time AIR-1(mains/adv) Bokaro se nikla tha.. Kon janta tha ki that was the 1st and probably last actual pride...

It feels bad when I compare the present with my past. DPS, Chinmaya, Xavier's ko chorke sab below average level chala geya hai.. DAV school kitna duba haai agar aap waha k local haai to jante honge(new principal try jarur kar raha hai but sirf strictness barhane se kuch nehi hoga, students ko khusi se sekhana ussebhi imp. hai).. Sabhi School infrastructure k piche bhaag rahe haain wajai ki unlogoka teaching standard kitna low ja raha hai...Bokaro m bohot hi kaam ICSE/ISC board prefer kar rahe hai..
Coaching ki baat bhi same haai.. After 2 HODs left Fiitjee, it's totally gone to hell. MAS k wajeshe Fiitjee ka naam atleast haai abhi. Wo chor diye(joki lag raha wo ISRO back jayenge) to baas bolne ka kuch nehi bachega.. Ranchi se teachers aate jaate rehenge.
Pace ka level just average hi haai.. yet atleast stable haai.. Baki saab bohot hi low standard content follow karwa rahe haai. Kuch gine chune acche teachers honge jo JEE advance level taak parha sakte hee.. Students ka itna bura haal dekhke 2 saal baad wo bhi nehi rahenge shayad.
Jaabhi koi puchta haai ki Jharkhand m rehne ka best city konsa hain.. Rely room mee sab Ranchi, Jamshedpur k agee bar nehi pate.. Yaha kisi na kisika baccha Bokaro k condition se guzar chuka haai ya for the last time guzar raha haai.. Koi Bokaro recommend karne ka sahash taak nehi rakhta agar puchnewale ka baccha abhi school m ho.. Dhanbad ka condition environmentally(including most people's idealogy) ho sakta haain zyeda accha na ho but fir bhi education k mamleme thora stable haai. I hope ki sabh kuch almost pehle jaise ho jaiga.

Believing on statistics and judging future on it's basis is a typical mistake committed by a confused or so, scholar after their 10th. DPS Society has one of it's best school in Bokaro in terms of infrastructure. But in 11 and 12 every individual has a very different need to be fullfilled. All who opt for science in 11th don't participate in the rush for IIT or AIIMS. Many, infact most have passion/interest in art, languages, IT, programming, civil services, etc even more than in pure science. DPS does provide that distinct infrastructure extremely well but not the class and environment they actually require. Overall DPS is way better than any other school in Bokaro.

Reasons why Bokaro is losing it's status of education:
-Very high fees. This year fees have increased even more.
-Less integrity of studies among students.
-Huge differentiation and criticism of being an humanities student.
-Very limited thought environment. Engineering is the only thing circulating in most mindsets. Negligible discussion in other fields.
-Poor governance over illegal business and scams. Many fall victims of such.
-Costly yet poor quality food service.
-Teachers discontinuing and opening individual coaching centres for extra income.
-Develeopment of a business mindset in schools and coachings rather than education cause of all the above points.
-Less emphasis on discipline in most schools. Most teachers aren't cared of it.
-Almost every school impart education through vernaculars inspite of being an english medium. Many teachers doesn't even know proper english which makes it often difficult for foreign state students to communicate.
-Least efficient power supply in the whole country.
