IR should develop Vasco as the major rail terminal of Goa and Madgaon should serve as the main junction for the state. Majority of trains including the Goa SK, MAO HAPA, MAO ERS should terminate at Vasco and a new daily superfast to Mumbai should be started.
Karmali should not be preferred over Vasco since its just a small village and lacks various terminal facilities which Vasco has.
Vasco has 3 platforms which can accommodate 24 coach trains and also plenty of pit lines and space for parking rakes.
