Rescue teams from Chennai Central and NDRF have been dispatched to the site. Railway authorities have launched rescue operations and are working to evacuate passengers. Helpline numbers have been released for passengers to receive information about the incident. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has instructed officials to monitor the situation, ensure medical aid and transportation for affected passengers, and expedite rescue operations.
