Electrification is completed till Chervathur, and the entire section in which this train runs is electrified. Only few sub station work is pending.
Any idea when there can be movement of passenger/express trains with electric locos beyond calicut ? It would also be good if the running time is reduced to a huge extent.
Few trains are running. I will be uploading the video of CAN-CBE Passenger with WAP4 in a day or two. Other than that, TCR-CAN Passenger is also running with eloco. Mostly, others will have wait till MAQ is ready. Yes, running time can easily be reduced for many trains up to 30minutes in some cases

Kindly remove the cancel. Train is still running with the same number. Destination changed to ALLP. This train will be running with the same number till Jan 25. Merged service with 16307/08 will start from Feb. Verified in IRCTC as well
I guess they are not merging because tickets would have been already sold, and they don't want to create diff in train number with respect to ticket and train.

This train should be made a daily service instead of terminating at Ernakulam on thursdays and saturdays.

Jayesh(who was the shunter) having good track record and good experiences. As per the sources he was did the all shunting duties at CAN from 8pm till the accident on 4/7/16. The accident happened at 4:30am in morning and the climate was raining heavily.
