this route, having a distance of 548 kms, in which 506 kms is double line and 229 kms having an MPS of 130, this much speed up is really needed in my opinion.

Train will be a successful one if there is a link train to Mumbai from KLBG.
CR can extend Siddeshwar to KLBG.
BNC 1440 KLBG 2210 ; KLBG DEP 2245 CSMT 0730.
CSMT 2030 KLBG 0530; KLBG 0600 BNC 1330.
CR can extend Siddeshwar to KLBG.
BNC 1440 KLBG 2210 ; KLBG DEP 2245 CSMT 0730.

If doing that there r chances of Siddeshwar getting delayed unless it has been having arrival at SUR on time and then extn to KLBG...👍 If it has very good arrival SUR then it can be extn to KLBG and ppl can board the KLBG SMVB/BNC VB and head to BLR...👍
Siddheshwar is having PM @SUR with Udyan, so 0 chances of Extension
My point is that only. Both SUR and KLBG are in CR. Siddeshwar has RSA with Udyan.
So, Siddeshwar can have it's PM at KLBG and run as KLBG CSMT. Can run as Udyan and go back as Udyan to Mumbai and further to KLBG as Siddeshwar.
KLBG CSMT (Siddeshwar) -- CSMT SBC (Udyan) -- SBC CSMT (Udyan) -- CSMT KLBG (Siddeshwar).

Are you aware of the train route via baiyappanahalli channasandra? Kindly check the route of udyan express from bengaluru city to Yelahanka.
Made the above points to answer the question well in advance if some one raises such a question regarding the overtakes 😄. Your point is agreed.
