May be its a gud reason to be made. I think the halt was provided by Rajgopal when he was the railway minister. I do personally feel there is unnecessary bias towards karunagapally. It's only being recently upgraded to a municipal town . Small station yet Sabari express, Amritha stops there. And the main places Chalakudi, Angamaly are not given halts. This train must have 3-tier AC Coaches too. @Vishal Sathyan: You suggested a great idea.3-Tier AC Coaches are of low charge while compared to 2-Tier AC Coaches.This train consist of only 2-Tier AC and no 3-Tier AC.And Extend this train to Chennai Central as a superfast train from Thiruvananthapuram Central. @anon: Jan 05 09:22PM This is good Night train trom TVC to PGTN, No need to extend this train to further more. We have so many trains to MAS including Dailies and weeklies. the better option is to increase the frequency of the weekly trains.
