Good wishes. @first blogger: You can yourself book tickets through online internet bookings and for that you first need to get yourself registered (free registration) under IRCTC website. The procedure is simple and easy as available under IRCTC website. In case you do not wish to register yourself, you go to any nearby travel agent doing train ticket booking and get online ticket from there. . Every coach has electronic display board from outside. The flickering bright Red LEDs, with changing text content, look jazzy at relatively dark stations. . I guess there are some other trains like this. @MST IndianRailways: This train shares its rake with Simhadri express. Many trains of SCR have LED display. GREAT IMPROVEMENT BY SCR. hi,I have reservation from CSTM to Nanded on 27-12-2009 of sleeper class of this train.Its current status is RAC 097.How much chances are there that it will get confirmed?What exactly RAC mean?Am I able to sit in sleeper compartment? Awaiting your response.Thanks. @first blogger: RAC means Reservation Against Cancellation. It means you are assured of a seat on the train. Please check the reservation chart in which coach and what seat number has been allotted. Before travelling check your RAC position again, it's quite possible that it may have got confirmed at the time of chart preparation. Dial 139 and follow the instructions, feed in your PNR when requested and it will give you the required information. Just check before leaving for the station. On the run of the train, depending upon availability of berths for last minute cancellations, you may be allotted a berth by the TT either in the same coach or in other coach. Dear moderator, In the fares & seats /Berth Availability,there is no provision for checking the fares for adults,child,senior citizen,handicap etc which will enable us to know the exact fare from source to destination. Request to update/add the information in the database,so that it becomes easier for passengers to check the fares before standing in the reservation booking counter. Yesterday ie on 21-05-2009 this train has arrived SC by 4hrs late ie at 18-30hrs.The combination rake ie Simhapuri between SC to Gudur was resscheduled for 23.45hrs causing great inconvenience to passengers. this is happening because their no trains on working times. it,s not the public which is at fault but management. the solution to this is make a mail train just before this train& postpone this train a little bit This route has became a mess now a days,if you are planning to travel on this route please book the ticket at least 60 days before date of journy.Even you get the confirmed ticket the general ticket holders/WT trvellers will never leave a single inch blank space in the bogie across the train.After 6 o clock in the morning after passing aurangabad i challange you to sleep since this will become local train for people making up-down daily basis.the TCE has nothing to do with you since you have made a mistake of your life by purchasing the ticket Quite true...4-5 people share 3 peoples seat..as it is marathwada is backward..this train is the perfect example to see these half humans at their worst. I don't think ur from developed nation/region. This is commeon forum to give ur view about trains and not for region or people belongs to particular region. well looks like you need to practice what you preach.
