I would like to share a chaotic incident with all of you held with us at Patna stn ,we the group of 33 people plus 14 kid of age gp 9 mths to 5 yrs were waiting on pltform no 3 for new delhi bound rajdhani in B2 coach .
First of all it was announced that Rjadhani would be arriving on paltform no. 3 we with a luggage(70 in nos) were there at B2 coach Pos. then at 7 p.m it was announced that Rjpb-Nzm GaribRath which was also anounced to be arriving on Platform No.3 will be coming on Platform no. 4 due to some technical difficulty in Line 3 ,ther was chaos in people boarding Garib Rath they all ran towards Plat form no. 4,then it was our turn to panic as it was announced that Rajdhni would be coming on platform no 2 .
To our relief 2 & 3 were adjacent platforms but we have to shift the whole luggage to new coach position , At that time we were thinking what would had had happened if it would have announced for platform no 4.
To our worst fears came true it was announced that Rajdhani will be arriving On plat form no. 4 30 mins late , same platform on which Garibrath was standing at that time . Time was 7.30 hrs 15 mins past scheduled arrival of rajdhani.Nearest overbridge was too far to carry this much luggage and at that time there were no coolies also. we were 17 people of age 25-30 so we decide to jump of the whole luggage crossing over line no. 3 and line no 4 on which Garibrath was standing we went pass with all luggage wtihin a distance of 50 mtrs from the engine of Garibrath it took abt 15-20 mts for all this and situation was like u dare not to be in . In between Garibrath also moved away .finally we boarded train that too from wrong gate which cost us another 1 hr in train to settle our luggage causing problems to other passengers.
In all this there was such a unprofessional behaviuor from railway officials ther no info available abt what was happening why so People are dealt like animals when they are paying so much money and so much hard work goes in all this .
Also It was also announced that some local train would be arriving on pltform no 3 for which it was announced that it was facing Technical difficulties .

You can not imagine what was our position at that time as We were already badly tired up as we were travelling for last 5 hrs in a bus from Rajgir ,when we arrived at Patna stn those who live in patna very well know the situation how is the position outside Patna rly stn , it took whole 1and half hour to bring up the bus up to patna stn from main rd as there was worst traffic situation out there .coolies took Rs 1500 for our luggage from gate to pltatform no 3 which went waste afterwards due to what happened at platform.

Very sorry to read about your problems- sometimes it happens. It could have been avoided but nobody knows why platform numbers are changed in the last minute. technical difficulties? but as you say, another local chugged into pl 3- why not rajdhani which was originally scheduled to arrive?
i'm sure most of bloggers would have experienced this some time or the other.

SINCE WHEN TRAIN NO.3155/3156 (MITHILANCHAL EXPRESS) WILL BE EXTENDED TO SITAMARHI. IT IS BADLY NEEDED FOR THE PEOPLE WHO TRAVEL FROM KOLKATA TO SITAMARHI. PLEASE EXTEND AS EARLY.
