The incident occurred between Pathardih railway station and the marshalling yard. Police identified the young man as 22-year-old Kuldeep Kumar from Bhaura Handi Patti Kankanpur, and released him after questioning. He refused to explain how he ended up on the tracks. The Pathardih station in-charge expressed gratitude to the engine driver for his quick thinking and alertness.

The young man remained unresponsive. Railway staff informed the Pathardih police and GRP. The Pathardih Station in-charge, Pawan Chandra Pathak, arrived at the scene with his team, splashed water on the young man's face, and brought him to consciousness. The police identified the young man as Kuldeep Kumar, 22, a resident of Bhaura Handi Patti Kankanpur, using his Aadhar card found in his wallet. After questioning, the young man was released. Kuldeep refused to explain how he ended up there. The young man was found lying with his head on the Sindri-Dhanbad passenger line, near the Pathardih PP cabin, indicating a possible suicide attempt. The driver's quick thinking saved the young man's life. The Pathardih Station in-charge thanked the driver for his alertness.

Lekin is terminal ke development se, businesses ek set fee deke apna saman apni zarurat ke hisab se rakh payenge.

Singh and Pathardih section engineer P.N. Gupta, reached the spot. The truck was seized and taken to the Dhanbad RPF station. A case has been registered against the truck driver and owner, and investigations are underway. The truck, bearing registration number JH 10 CO 4282, was transporting coal from the Juta Gate colliery to the BCCCL Kujama colliery.
