Rahul's father, Indrajit Paswan, took him to Dhanbad for treatment with the help of locals. The Jodapokhar police arrived at the scene and took possession of the bike (registration number not provided) and the truck (JH 10 CB 5230). Former councilor Manoj Sav, who led the road blockade, demanded that the transporter provide full medical treatment and compensation to the injured. The police took everyone to the station and cleared the road after about an hour of blockage.

In addition to the train and stalls, PM Modi will also virtually inaugurate various railway projects across India, totaling over 85,000 crores in cost. These projects include 10 new Vande Bharat trains, including the Ranchi-Varanasi train, and various 'One Station One Product' stalls and trolleys at different stations. The program will be held at four stations in the Adra Division: Bokaro, Purulia, Bishnupur, and Bankura. The Adra division has established seven OSOP stalls at seven stations, costing approximately 49 lakhs, and 23 OSOP trolleys at a cost of 55 lakhs. Seven OSOP trolleys are already operational at four stations: Adra (2), Bankura (2), Purulia (1), and Burnpur (2), with the remaining 16 trolleys to be installed at locations including Madhukunda, Ramkanali, Chandrakona Road, Garbeta, Boai Chandi, Indrabil, and Jhantipahari.
