shailshekhara 35272 blog postsPolice said that an unidentified person hurled stones at the train between Mondh and Suriawan railway stations while it was heading to Varanasi. Sunil Dutt Diwedi, station house officer of Suriawan, said, “The railway control room received a distress call about stone pelting at Vande Bharat in the afternoon. A windowpane of the train was damaged in the incident. Based on a written complaint lodged by Anil Kumar, station master of Suriawan, we have registered a case against an unidentified person under IPC sections 336 (act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 427 (mischief causing damage to the amount of fifty rupees), and section 3(4) of Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.”
