Kumar emphasized the need for modernization of the Jamalpur factory, considering its status as Asia's first rail engine factory, highlighting the importance of efficiency and modernization to enhance its performance. After inspecting the factory, he visited the scrap yard at Dhobi Ghat and held a meeting with deputy officers to discuss strategies for the future of the factory. He also gave necessary instructions.
