Train No. 07378 will depart from Mangaluru Central at 2:35 PM. The extension comes after years of requests from passenger associations, who also called for the train to be regularized. While the Ministry granted the extension, the train remains a special service with additional fares. The train's schedule was previously adjusted on March 22nd, with the departure time from Vijayapura moved to 3:35 PM and arrival at Mangaluru Junction moved to 9:30 AM. The train leaves Mangaluru Junction at 9:32 AM to reach Central at 9:50 AM.
