Its high time that IR should introduce Vande Metro Regionals on 200-250 kms route and replace all intercities and MEMU & passenger trains (plying on the same distance) with it .
This will ease pressure on VBs and would cut the crap .. Hub n Spoke System is the future..
Vande Metro Regional should have two classes , one having proper CC seating arrangement and reservation facilities and the other being unreserved RRTS type arrangement with proper standing and seating facilities. people traveling in reserved 2S will then have option to shift...

IR agar Gareebo ko subsidised travel de rahi h to ameero se premium le kar unhe b acchi services provide kare … Ye 100 kmph par chal rahi h fir bhi fastest h us route par or waiting mei chal rahi h .. means there is a demand and people are ready to pay .. there are cheap options available on the route for others …

IR charges a premium for priority .. why would it give it any one for free ? 10 rupaye 30 km travel karne wale fare par ye possible nahi h ..
you should then agree that … IR can introduce flexi fare on subsidised classes as well .. and get the priority !!

The once mighty Lucknow Shatabdi standing at PF 6, which is accessible by cabway, of the station. It once used to be the fastest ground connection b/w Lucknow and Delhi stopping only at CNB [for traction change, I think] originally. It has been slowed by more than 30 minutes since then. Other trains like Tejas and even road connections are faster now. It used to come at LKO NR upto a decade back before being transferred to LJN NER.

Lucknowis should start save LKO Shatabdi movement .. or demand for a separate high priority train from Delhi .. as a VB can potentially cover Delhi LKO distance in less than 5.5 hours …

official Vapi arrival time of Tejas and 22961 VB is the same but it seems VB ko priority milti hai over Tejas so VB is taken into Vapi 1st and afterwards Tejas.
But how can both DD and VB reach ADI at the same time?
