Great News. May be this train shall start running via SBP after electrification of JSG-SBP route, so that a diesel loco shall haul this train till SBP and then a Electric Loco will take charge after that in the JSGR-BSP-KZM-JHS route. A loco reversal at JSG can also be avoided by bypassing via JSGR(Jharsuguda Road Station). Hoping for the best.

If Loco change facility with Electrification available at SBPY, then Loco Reversal can be avoided by routing through SBPY-JSGR-BSP. Only a Loco change from Diesel to Electric will be needed at SBPY for 15 mins.

Why there is a difference in Official km & IRI km? Official km from Mumbai to Karmali is showing 710.2, but IRI showing 551.7.

You may consider booking by 18215(Right time of Dep. 0800hrs from NDLS, but will be definitely at least 30 mins late)/12925(Dep. time of 1105 hrs), if considering leaving Delhi at the earliest. Else Intercity is better option.

No. The timing is only risky. No need of changeover from NDLS to DLI.
