another bailgari from varanasi, what's the need of it when, old surat - bsb had the run time less than 25 hrs. while new one have 28 hrs, also with odd timing in bsb. DISAPPOINTED.

Even rajdhani going VARANASI Jn. is SUPER CRAWLER its take 12.45 min where as rajdhani going MGS only takes 8hrs.25min max 9 hrs 20 min. CAN ANY ONE JUSTIFIED IT???? I THINK NO!!!!!
ITS TRUE MANY GOOD SUPER FAST TRAINS DO PASS FROM MGS, BUT THEY HAVE VERY FEW SEATS FOR VARANASI PEOPLE, AND ALL MOST ALL BELONGS TO "PATNA" AND LEFT BELONG TO "KOLKATA".

1. NDLS TO BSB VIA LKO - SULTANPUR IS 774 KM
2. VIA JANGHAI IS 769 KM
3. VIA GAYANPUR ROAD IS 759 KM

1. ndls-lko 12234 takes 7.40min (by ac exp)
add lko -bsb by 12328 and 12370 4.15min (by upashana and kumbha exp)
gives total time 11.55min
???????

Good News for railfans waiting for Electrification News on MGS - Varanasi - LKO route. As per the local newspapers, electric trains would be tested on this route on 2nd of October, and henceforth Electric trains would commence.

true, after electrification Via Mirzapur - Varanasi route will get more importance as it is double and electrified. as compare to Via gayanpur road for Allahabad.
NE Railway may change / reroute of 12559/60 Shivaganaga Exp. originating it From MUV via BSB - Mirzapur-ALD.
