NDLS is near, also you can catch direct Metro to T3(Airport Express) from NDLS, Will take around 35 mins for travel.

Aaj maine 28 may ka ticket book kiya 120 din pehle manpasand seat bhi mila .....bahut maza aa raha hai lekin ye samajh nahi aa raha hai ki main wapsi ka ticket kab kataun..

bade hi aaram se, Darshan ke liye 1 din hi kafi hai, aap subah Jammu se katra ja sakte hain 2.5 hr max mein(Using Bus, Taxi takes 1.5 hours), then you can complete your journey to Bhawan to and fro in about 8 hours on foot(assuming you are a brisk walker and I have taken 2 hours buffer for Darshan Queue). This way you will be back in katra on same night.

June is the peak traffic month for Darshan, coupled with the fact that you are trying to be there on a weekend, trust on on every weekend almost half of delhi rushes to vaishno devi, so it your itenary permits please choose a weekday for comfortable journey.

Also if you have aged parents then I would suggest booking the helicopter at least one way(Katra to Sanchichat). That way you save time and have enough spare energy for same day return on downhill path.
Katra mein room le lijiye, try for rooms from Shrine board(Niharka complex) they are best in that price range. But be aware that you have to book 30 days in advance and rooms gets exhausted almost immediately(1-2 minutes)

For a comfortable journey and Darshan without rush best months are Jan and Feb, that too if you can manage in weekdays then there is almost no rush and prices for all commodities are reasonable.

Yes you have to book 30 days in advance in website maavaishnodevi.org
In that case you have to book room in Bhawan also, again from maavaishnodevi.org only. There is no private accommodation over there.

In whole of Jammu and Kashmir, pre-paid from other states will not work.

Aaas paas toh nahi hai thoda dur hain Patnitop, at around 70 Km from Katra.
Procedure is simple, submit your photo identity and address proof document to the provider service center. Choose the plan; submit advance deposit as applicable and in 2-3 days you will get your connection.

I don't have any idea for bus route and time for this, but as per me train travel will be better. There are 3-4 places to visit in Amritsar including Golden temple, jallianwala bagh.
