Will be changed after ARP. All Passenger info systems like display, Announcement in Railway station from MLDT TO BTI shows it as BLGT BTI Exp not Farakka

Nope the main TB doesn't show Farakka Express anymore in all rakes. It is changed with small TBs of Balurghat Bhatinda
This is not my personal comment. Balurghat people have demanded to rename this train to Balurghat Delhi express or Balurghat Bhatinda express. They have appealed to KIR Divn to show it at BLGT BTI EXP in IRCTC & remove TB showing Farakka in it

This VB is not going to be white elephant. It is going to be one of the most successfull VB of IR since both national & international tourists will prefer it because it is connecting Varanasi & Agra which are top tourist places in India

This train is somehow much slower than the Gomti Express on DLI-LKO stretch despite having a lesser halt pattern.
This train is on the verge of permanent cancellation. Slowed down in down direction in July but is rescheduled in every run in up direction , so in Jan we might see a massive slowdown in up direction also in new TAAG

RailwayFiles~ 277 blog postsRunning this VB with 20 coaches is a bad idea, 8 chair car rake should do. This VBs revenue almost entirely depends on NGP and SC, i can say this is going to be a flop. There wont be many takers for any premium train on this entire stretch, apart from NGP and SC i don't see any other potential stop which can generate big revenue. But i really wish this VB proves me wrong.
