The blast was powerful, causing a 470 cm section of the track to break and fall 39 meters away. Upon investigation, police recovered electrical wires near the site. The Farakka NTPC authorities and senior police officials reached the site, including the Barharwa SDPO. The FSL team has been called to the site for further investigation.
