line was approved after many people from various fields, including political leaders, social activists, journalists, and youth, campaigned for its construction. The late Gopinathrao Munde took initiative to get the railway line approved and both the central and state government contributed financially. The late Pritamtai Munde, a former MP, constantly followed up with the BJP government for funds. While the Ahalyanagar to Ashti railway line has been completed, the remaining work is in the final stages. Now, Ambedkarite activists are demanding that the Bid railway station be named after Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Rajendra Maske has appealed to the administration to take notice of the former soldier’s hunger strike which has now become serious.

Yeh railway line alag alag field ke logon, jaise ki political leaders, social activists, journalists aur youth ne apna contribution dekar banwaya tha. Late Gopinathrao Munde ne is railway line ko approve karwane ke liye apna initiative liya tha aur central aur state government ne financially support kiya tha.
