To the extreme right of each blog Post, people can rate each comment - the main Blog Entry and the Replies are rated separately. Each person can have at most one vote (by IP address). This feature will enable us to filter out the most popular and useful blog posts over time, and show them in a separate tab. One other aspect is that this will be one way for casual anonymous users to render appreciation to the concerned blogger for the help received (by giving a positive rating). Also, those blog posts which receive many negative reviews can be scrutinized, and deleted by admins if found offensive. Giving negative ratings will also be a way for people to notify the admins of offensive posts. @moderator: Great feature added Sir !!!!!! Thanks :) @moderator: It is proposed by the Moderator to review and delete those blogs with many negative reviews. In this respect, it is suggested :- a) that a cut off mark is set eg. ranking total -10 and the blog entry gets deleted automatically and / or b) the blog entry gets moved to another tab - "Review Blogs" based on the cut off mark criteria The new tab "Review Blogs" needs to be inserted at the top- a/w other Tabs. The Public at large will be able to view what public at large thinks about a comment/query. We can also provide other kinds of analysis, for instance, number of posts with positive and negative reviews, averages, etc.. We shall soon (in a couple of weeks) be providing this feature, along with the other supplemented features suggested above by Mr. Kapadia. Thanks. |
