Most of the trains running via Miraj to Pune are swr. People of miraj, sangli should join Belgavi to voice their demand for JS. I feel Cr has neglected this region correct me if i am wrong.
Issue will be getting prime slots of arrival and departure when it becomes inter zone.

As far as i know swr runs most train in this region. True but there are no ICE or JS useful for regional pax.

CR and WR are mumbai based zones. SWR is Hubballi based zone. Mh has two zones to cover the whole state.

MoSR is looking at over all development of railways in Karnataka. Only in his tenure we have seen so many specials covering maximum districts in Karnataka. Hpt-hrr line opening,hrr-hpt passenger, ubl-mas exp, bjp-sbc special, kcvl-mys extension, Pitline at BJP, prioritising the rail doubling throughout SWR network are some his achievements in a short period. It's not just lipservice he s really working for the perennially neglected Karnataka.

True. Though there are 15+ trains from Bengaluru to Mumbai. They take minimum of 24hrs.

Udyan is the only dedicated train. Coimbatore exp touches sbc. Most of the trains pass through kalyan. A dedicated train via dvg, ubl,bgm,Pune is required.

Earlier chalukya train used to terminate at Ypr for some reason they have been extended upto Puducherry/Tirunelveli. May be CR extended it as the rake belongs to them. It should speeded up in both directions.

Chalukya, sharavathi depart from Hubli around 3pm, LTT departs 345pm. No point of having back to back trains.

It closely follows ubl JS till Hubli, atleast after Hubli it can be speeded up. But now it runs in 3 zones so chances of speeding would be pretty difficult. As u said LTT exp should depart around 7-8 , now it's more like a convenient trian for southern Maharashtra than SWR. Speeding up of this train is again left upon ability of CR to accomodate it in LTT.

If pune-bgm JS can run upto ubl it would be great as it can provide connection to Bangalore via ubl-sbc js.
There is no ghat between ubl and bgm. But there are lot of curves probably they ll reduce the speed.

It arrives at odd time in hubli so it's only useful for passengers beyond Hubli Dharwad.

This train has KSK sort of halts. If we divide its journey into different sections like ypr-dvg 1800-2330, BJP SPL has better timings 1745/2300 like a intercity. @ ubl 3am arrival, which is inconvenient. @ bgm 530 am arrival, BGM SF is taking care of early arrival at bgm nowadays. Swr should try to make best use of its limited fleet. This train is only for pvr passengers. But it's return schedule is good.
