eventhough if u dont travel by this train..der r many cmmuters u need this train very badly as it halts at many places..thus serving them 2 new delhi/howrah...and its train of ancient india...so it cant b cancelled

Many of the trains which were announced in the previous budget are yet to be introduced.There's another budget coming up in another three weeks.About 100 trains are supposed to be introduced.Why do railways announce a large number of trains when they are not in a position to introduce them?

it is very difficult as exact time is not known. there is no fixed time also. there is only a time frame within which chart will be prepared

I agree Pradeep but even an approximation will also be good. Because for early morning trains chart is prepared a day-before. So a n approximation with +/- 2 hrs does not seem a bad option

again it depends on the station where chart is prepared. example for 6231 MV-MYS express some time chart is prepared only 45min to 1hrs before train departure from MV. its very difficult to predict.

Exactly thats why it is important as people can have an approximate time when chart preparation is done.
It can help people understand at what time they need to check for Charting status. Yes it would need to be user input .

Lets have it like Pantry field where users can update if they have information. Like, today I have observed that chart for A P Express/HYB->NDLS that departs at 6:25 AM is prepare at approx. 22:00 the night before.

we board this train on 6th Febuary 2010. To our suprise there is no pantry car in this train on this day of travel. Will railway authorities can take care to avoid such major negligences must not occur in future. The persons aged, sick and those who traveled with children sufferred a lot.

It's not like that a sup. fast train must not stop at two places in a city.......Rajdhani going out of Mumbai does stop at another station like-Andheri or so. Even Pushpak stops only at Dadar before CST.Moreover Pushpak "type" trains are on first priority on Indian Railway's Chart ....at par with Rajdhanis.......

i am not hearting your view, but you can not compare mumbai to bhopal. population of bhopal may be 1/15 of the mumbai. secondaly population distribution (density)near arround mumbai is some what same arroung the 50 kms diameter.
