Happy Guru Nanak Dev Ji's wishes to all!
On the occasion of 554th Guru Nanak Gurpurab, I visited Gurudwara Singh Sabha located in TNagar, Chennai. Crowded as usual for the celebrations, the celebrations went superb with hundreds of Sangats and devotees being pouring in for the Darshan. I felt a sense of being in Punjab...
more... although this Gurudwara is located in Chennai. Kirtan by renowned ragis gave a high on spirituality of Sikhi. Also, surprisingly, Hon'ble Governor of Tamilnadu, Shri. R.N. Ravi visited today here (see pic No. 5 a person wearing Saffron scarf in the Middle)and had blessings of Waheguru Ji. Due to this, high security was being employed on Gurudwara premises.
After that, I did some sewa by serving food to Sangat, had a scrumptious Langar prasad later, one of the best experiences I had in my life. There was no discrimination on the basis of gender, class, race, religion etc were followed at Gurudwaras and even the Governor was also sitting equally with the Sangat touches the heart. The concept of One God and Langar started by the Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jee itself. I see even Tamils even participating in Langar. This is one of my unforgettable incidences in my life.

Guru Nanak Dev Ji ke Janamdin ki sabko badhai ho!
554ve Guru Nanak Gurpurab ki mauke par, maine TNagar, Chennai mein sthit Gurudwara Singh Sabha ko visit kiya. Jaise har baar ki tarah, yahan ki dhoom-dhadaka mehfil bahut mast thi, aur hazaron Sangat aur bhakton ne darshan ke liye aaye. Punjab mein mehsoos hua jaisa ki Punjab mein hi hoon. Prasiddh ragiyon ke Kirtan ne Sikh dharam ki adhyatmikta me maza diya. Aur behad hairaani ki baat, Tamilnadu ke Shaanadaar Governor Shri. R.N. Ravi aaj yahan (pic No. 5 mei bich wale vyakti) darshan karne aaye aur Waheguru Ji ke aashirwaad liye. Is wajah se Gurudwara premises par security kaafi tight thi.
Iske baad, maine sewa karke Sangat ko bhojan seva ki, aur phir ek lazeez Langar ka maza liya, meri zindagi mei sabse behtareen anubhav tha. Gurudwaras mei gender, class, race, dharm aadhar par koi bhed-bhav nahi hota, aur Governor bhi Sangat ke barabar baitha tha, ye dil ko chhoo gaya. Ek Ishwar aur Langar ka concept Sri Guru Nanak Dev Jee ne hi shuru kiya tha. Main dekha hai ki Tamil bhi Langar mei shamil hote hain. Ye mere jeevan ke yaadgaar palon mei se ek hai.
